Two hundred and ten million dinars for the reconstruction of schools and the drafting of technical documentation
Contracts based on the two calls for proposals in the area of education were singed in the hall of the Provincial Government. This year again, the same as in previous years, considerable funds were allocated for investment maintenance of educational facilities, and for the drafting of technical documentation.
“A total of 180 million dinars were allocated for the reconstruction, adaptation, rehabilitation, investment and ongoing maintenance of the facilities of the institutions for preschool, primary and secondary education and student accommodation. In addition, we allocated approximately thirty million dinars for the drafting of technical documentation for the needs of primary and secondary education institutions in the territory of the APV." - said Vice-President of the Provincial Government, Provincial Secretary Zsolt Szakállas.
The funds were distributed in the following manner. Within the first call for proposals, one hundred and twenty-one million dinars - at the level of primary education, forty million - at the level of secondary education, 7.5 million - for pupils/students’ dormitories and 11.5 million dinars - for preschool institutions. Within the second call for proposals, twenty million dinars were allocated for primary schools, and 9.6 million dinars for secondary schools.
At the end, Secretary Szakállas pointed out that the support of the Provincial Government would remain consistent, so that pre-schoolers, pupils, and students of primary and secondary schools in Vojvodina have the best possible conditions for schooling, and he asked the beneficiaries of the funds to implement the works as soon as possible.
During the event, Provincial Secretary Assistants Milica Vučićević and Tijana Pavlov gave instructions for the implementation of the contracts and clarified all ambiguities.
